Dishes dont get cleaned

There are dirty food trays everywhere and my Prisoners stopped eating.
If i dump them a new one will be served and it will work but they dont get cleaned automatic

Do you have enough sinks (with water), have you time planned where your cooks haven't to prepare food?

Even i there arent enough, my cooks arent doing anything other then to cook if i remove food trays

Is there time for you cooks to gather up the trays, they will not do this while prisoners are in teh canteen, so if you are running mutibel scheduals out of one canteen it can be an issue.

Normal and minimum are eating 2 Hours, then there is a 3 hour pause until max Security comes in, during the nights everyone is sleeping
I tried moving everything around, incuding lockup for everyone and eating the whole day for everyone

Are your sinks turned the right way around so that the access point is available and not inside a wall?

So... what -does- happen when there are no prisoners eating? Do they at least stack up the dirty trays, or do they simply ignore them forever and leave them on the tables one-by-one as they are.
I can see that a cook is carrying a tray and there is one in the bottom sink.

Do you have more than one kitchen or more than one canteen?

They leave them at the tables, i tried to extend the kitchen but that hasnt worked out,
i guess i should open a second canteen to see if its working, the prison is a number of updates old, so maybe something got broken

In that case maybe you'd actually like to entirely dismantle and dezone the canteen and kitchen.
A just-in-case measure.

Start out with a small number of serving tables first, because as I can see, all of them have no trays. Somewhere in there is AI confusion, but right now it's difficult to tell what exactly went haywire.

The issue could still be timing. Since the cooks start cooking 4hrs before EAT time and you only have a 3hr gap between the two EAT times could be the issue... When prisoners are sleeping or after the last EAT time is when you should definitely see them cleaning up, since they don't have to be cooking anymore.

The problem is Guards. At least in my case. I couldn't figure this out for the longest time. If you look under Jobs in the Reports, you will see that Cooks are queued to Move or Store Dirty Trays. The reality is that Guards do those jobs instead. The Cooks only clean them once they are gathered by Guards. (i call bug?)
