Palermo mission bugged

Fire won't go out, it just wont. I get it down to two itty bitty flames in each shelter and they just keep on burning. Tried moving the fireman around to various positions with no luck. Guess the prisoners are going to starve!

Hmm, mine went out ok, after I had secured the wing, that's the important thing it seem. Firemen will not go into areas that are not under your control (red) The other thing is the quicker you can get to it the better. I managed that one with only 7 deaths, til the extra death cut sceen.

I found the next mission buggy too. One of the objectives is "put out the fire", which I did, but even when the building was completely safe the objective would not be completed.

Try restarting the mission.

I'm stuck on 'place a few sprinklers in the kitchen.' I have put tons in, removed them, put them in again, and it just won't update.

Yep, restarting the mission solved it for me.

I have the same problem. I removed the whole building and placed it somewhere else and the quest is not updating.

Try controlling the hose of your firemen, click on the firement then hold H while aiming your mouse :D

Restarting the mission is the way.

Yep, I did read the pop-up instructions on how to use it and tried that, didn't work.

All of that worked for me, but I can't put any floors into the kitchen, or even make it a kitchen. it doesn't work with the canteen either. I have all of the requirements done but I can't seem to fix it. Any help?

It's almost like they run out of water at some point. The fires don't go away if the floor is not covered in blue.

I had to restart as well, and the second time around I paused the game immediately and gave tall the instructions first, then as the fires go out I paused again each time and moved the firemen closer to the remaining fires.
