Sentence adjustments

I keep getting reoffender fines, my policy is set to 5% parole, and i have sentence adjustments set to 1 for # of times and value at 0 and my extension at 2yrs.

So if they attack staff once they should get 2yrs extra time... not working, nobody is being extended unless its a murder.

Do I have my values wrong? Its been a while since I played.

Are you sure the sentence adjustment isn't for the punishment instead? I thought that the judge handed out sentencing in game, and as a manager of the prison it was up to us in handing out the punishments.

I just leave the parole set at the recommended setting, and the same for the punishments. I believe that a day in the prison really is more like a fraction of a year, and that if you set the punishments too harsh, it does very little other than create a need for a much larger isolation wing. In fact, that's where I'm struggling at the moment, is in the number of prisoners that require isolation.

I believe when I played last you could add on to their sentence ie: attack guard = 2yrs more, but it doesnt seem to work anymore or I have the values wrong. I dunno

I seem to have a similar problem with the sentence adjustments. I can't get it to work either. No matter what I set the criteria at, their sentence remains the same after their misconduct.

yeah, same problem, can't see any sentence being adjusted at all; breaks the gameplay with second chances and its fines! NEED FIX !
