How Do; Warmth?

I just scattered dozens of radiators around my prison. Each prisoners cell has a radiator. And the warmth meter is as full as it can get and in the critical range. How exactly do I appease them? Do I need to assign snuggle buddies or something?

Only new (Update 4) prisoners have the Warmth need.
Ones you have from Update 3 don't have a warmth need.

well, one radiator for a cell block (about 10 - 20 cells) should be enough.

What suprised me is how uneffected my prison is by this update. Even the Kitchen needs some radiators to stay hot.

Yes, same situation here. My cookers do not produce any heat whatsoever. (but I also don't give a damn in my current prison about needs satisfaction. It's a death camp)

Yes, same situation here. My cookers do not produce any heat whatsoever. (but I also don't give a damn in my current prison about needs satisfaction. It's a death camp)

cookers only produce heat when they are in use. they are only in use a few hours prior to each meal time and your cooks will only use just enough of them to make meals for your current population

if you have a bunch of extra cookers, they arent doing anything and even the ones that get used are only a few hours a day

I took the picture at a time when there clearly was cooking going on, and to prove that the temperature thing works altogether: Power station is clearly warm.
