With Update 4 I got 7 fps on average.
With the performance BETA I got 14 fps on average.
I think the very common community appreciates the effort in any attempts improving the performance of the game but this is still far away from what we expect so far (btw please don't make a point that from 7 to 14 fps was a 100% improvement ... it's still a flip-book at a certain point). Keep up the great work and please focus on PERFORMANCE!
300 prisoner
had 30 fps now with the test i'm getting 60
Processor:Intel Core2 Duo 2.4Ghz or Higher / AMD 3Ghz or Higher
Memory:4 GB RAM
Graphics:Nvidia 8600 / Radeon equivalent (2009 era)
1000 mb = 1gb
Pentium III is older and slower
With an early version of my prison (485 inmates)
Vanilla Prison Architect = around 20 FPS
Performance Beta = around 35 FPS
With the most recent save (1007 inmates)
Vanilla = around 10 FPS
Beta = around 15 FPS
Still some way from ideal, but a step in the right direction.
So glad I tested this out dont know what the fps imrpovement is exactly but I can see the improvement for sure.
(if someone there is an in game way of showing fps someone should tell me)
Please tell me you are trying to make a joke?
If not, you really need to read up on basic computer terminlogy before someone rips you off when you buy any computer hardware/software.
Framerate in my main prison went from 25-30 to 55-60.
