The performance update sounds really good aswell if it works as we wanted it however there is still no iPad version!!! such a disapointment!

This isnt a city building sim or something, we dont need happy prisoners in prison in the first place. The happy stuff is for the general pop prisoners.

It turns more and more into Hotel Architect.
A Prison should be a place were criminals are punished. They should live in bad condition and shouldn't be able to complain about anything. This game already was more "european prison" aka "hotel" but with every update it gets more and more ridiculous.

Wonder if in the future (or via mod) we will be able to build large furnaces and pipe heat around the prison. Radiator heating isn't exactly modern.

I wonder if they would also include something for alternative forms of energy in the game. You could an random event where you need to make your prison energy neutral, or less polluting!

Also, I didnt see if the prisoners areunhappy with both Cold and Warm tempratures? are we supposed to manage the heat in their cells now?! I agree with ShadowAngel that this game is turning into "Hotel Architect" more with every update.

Experimental: Performance Improvements
In addition to the Update 4 features, we have also implemented some experimental new performance enhancements that should make the game run better on virtually everyone's PC. However there is a chance that some backwards compatibility has been lost as a result. We have made this build available on a branch - you will have to opt into it to try it. Please let us know if this special version works for you, and especially if it gives you problems.

To opt into this branch:
- Right click on Prison Architect in Steam
- 'Properties' then 'Betas'
- Select "performancetest" from the dropdown menu
- Wait until Steam downloads the update
- Run Prison Architect.
- To verify: In the bottom left of the main menu screen, you should see the version text as "Version Update 4 PERF"

Na, there is a new preset room layout function. Not the clone tool.

What do you mean its the same way? Right clicking doesnt let me select anything like the clone tool does. I want to overwrite the existing room layouts with the ones I use.

Ok, so you think that punishment will actually reform a prisoner? And everybody went to prison because they are bad people? There is a thing called basic human rights. You can make cells with only a bed and a toilet - in fact you can fit that into a 2x2 area easily.
