Laundry doesnt work

My laundry doesn't function well. It is empty most of the time with no one working in it even though i have over a 100 janitors. I had two rooms at first, one for each wing, deleted the eastern one. I bought a bunch of baskets didn't work, dismantled them and the problem is still there. Made it staff only no results.

Any help would be awesome since i have had this problem in my last 3 prisons and its starting to annoy me.
And there are random dirty trays left around the prison, no one collects them even though i have unoccupied cooks.

I did some more testing, moved around the laundry and such. I have found that the problem is with the baskets, dirty laundry gets washed, ironed, loaded into baskets but none of my janitors distribute them.

I've heard that dirty tray/laundry is a bit bugged in the current version, but I suggest that you build a small laundry room for every 1-2 cell blocks that you have. (make sure to assign them correctly.) each room should have 1-3 washing machines, 1-3 ironing boards, and 2 baskets for every washing machine/ironing board in that room.

As for the trays, make sure that you have enough sinks/chefs to be able to handle them. And check if the kitchen is correctly assigned to the canteen. If that doesn't work, then maybe try dumping them?

@coolgamer475, you've likely got way more time in PA than I do and already know this, but how many baskets do you have? I've heard that you don't want too many (the number I've seen is about 1 basket for every 16 prisoners) or they won't get distributed.

Another thought--have you looked at the "jobs" tab to see if any of your janitors have laundry duties queued up?
