Visitation not working properly.

I have added a visirors room with both tables and a booth but still visitation does not work?
Borth Prisoners and visitors should have access too the room.

I had same issue till I found out the game mechanics have changed with new DLC. Go top left click on warden pic. in Bureaucracy click on Prison Policy then after that is done go bottom left open Reports and click on Policy and check mark visitors and same goes the rest you want.

I'm having the issue now. I have the Feb 24, 2023 update and it worked before. I do have the various options toggled. I have over 500 hours in it between Steam and GOG (version I'm playing now) over the years, so I tweak Policy, etc., to the max. I noticed today that my visitation room hasn't been visited. The only difference between now and prior prisons is that I added a Visitor Reception room. Is it broken?

broken for me as well. Areas properly set to prisoners / visitors (with visitor booths in the middle), policies checked, free time and so on. Absolutely zero visits. This makes the game unplayable

It started happening for me just recently. I compensate by having more phones.

I do that along with the video booths. But Visitation is part of the game. Also, the phones and such are on free time and are limited numbers, so inmates don't always get to use them. Visitation was throughout the day, and way more inmates could use it. My large prison has a "Family" need that can't be fully addressed. It stays high.

Anyone resolved this problem? It still is happening in my prison when revisiting PA after a long hiatus

Try it with the 2018 version first if that works then it means Paradox broke it like many things.

i would you like to know how to make the UI scale larger on MAC?
I've already tried looking for the preferences.text file but I can't find it. The + key doesn't work either.
Can anyone help?
