The Great Debate : Brick or Concrete Buildings?

I personally like concrete better as it looks more uniformed, but all the quick builds are brick, so now I use brick. How about you?

Bricks for office or staff only buildings. Concrete for actual cell blocks. Since I build several separated buildings instead of fewer, but larger ones, it kinda gives my prisons a nice look. I think.

I like bricks, but the game could certainly use more variety. I can't stand any of the flooring choices.

^Same as this. Nice brick for the workers, less nice concrete for the prisoners.

Brick, it just looks nicer.
It's not as monotonous, and even if the prison setting is basically built out of and for concrete structures, I'd just grow a wee tired of concrete's grey-ness.

I just use brick for everything. I think it gives my prisoners a more calming environment to reform in.

Usually cell blocks and maintenance in concrete, and offices, work places, common rooms and such in brick. I have very nice brick cell block with wooden/ceramic floors and a winter garden and many other niceties for people in protective custody.

I always use concrete. No modern prison is made of brick.

I use concrete for everything these days with the exception of power plant buildings, those are always brick. I can't remember if there was ever a specific reason for doing it that way, but that's just how it is now.
