CCTV Monitors flash warning signs seemingly at random.

Constructing a prison that is escape proof is not a easy task. Naturally I need a crap ton of cameras to keep the fog of war at bay. But every now and the for a split second the cctv monitors flash a warning sign. It doesnt seem to affect anything but its still worry-some. Any advice?

Sounds like you may have connected too many cameras to the same CCTV console. You can't check endless amounts of monitors at the same time, so the guard has to switch between em.

Its 8 cameras per console. I have enough for all my cameras but even the consoles that arent connected do it....

well, the cameras dont check to each other,

maybe you have also connect some cameras in the false direction.

you have to connect FROM monitor TO camera
never the other way!

They are connected correctly, the issue still prevails

i have to ask you for screenshots in utilty (wire) view now.

If you see the ! icon pop up for a second but it goes away a second later, it could be the guard changing with another one.

What this guy said, whenever I notice that happening thats almost always the case
