Report a translation problem
This will fully reinitialize Windows upon next startup. If that doesn't work, you can try running scandisk on your main hard drive to see if their are any file system errors.
I don't anything about Crafty Doc Viewer , but PA saves are just plan txt files. They can be edited with notepad (and that is likely the best way).
Also, if you have an AMD card with play.tv running (it may be running even if you didn't want it installed), close play.tv (or do what I do, and perm disable it from loading at boot in its settings). a recent update to play.tv is causing lots of peeps to not be able to start PA.
If none of that works, you can try going to C:\Users\[your_useraccount_here]\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect and deleting preferences.txt, or reading debug.txt for more info.
