How to assign protective cust. prisoners to specific yard
I have this issue where my protective custody prisoners - even with a yard right outside their cell block - will go to the shared yard, thus putting themselves in danger.

I wonder if there is a way to "micromanage" which yard what prisoners go to. Right now, my big yard is for both min and normal sec. So I can't really zone it...

Any ideas?

you should secure the protective custody area with an staff only airlock, so that they arent allowed to enter the main area

If he does that how will they participate in any programs?

well, you need seperate rooms for them.

But a small hint, you can mix native low security prisoners with protective custody, as lowsec prisoners dont attack anybody from themselfes. (The prisoner behaviour dont change if you set them to another security level, so beware to do that if you have changed manually some prisoners security level to lowsec)

thank you for the replies... I was hoping for a logistics type of approach. The same way we can assign a kitchen to a canteen and which block they serve, but for yards.

Since it's not in the game, I'll do some tweeking - or just start another prison :p

I think it would be a great idea though to be able to micromanage the yards as well as laundry and kitchen. Makes sense to me.

Thanks again for the help :)

This is a problem I have as well, you either need to give each security section it's own services or sacrifice prisoner security or sacrifice meeting all their needs.
It basically forces you to provide every need in every section and then deal with the mess in the programs scheduler.
