Beds vs Bunk beds
Does anyone else have the issue that sometimes bunk beds don't actually raise the maximum capacity by 2?
I've made several rooms now with 3 or more bunk beds, and more than once the bunk beds either count only as 1 extra bed - sometimes even as 0 beds.
Basically, what I see is that the 2nd bunk only works for 1 prisoner. And after that any other additional bunk beds don't add to the maximum capacity at all.

Does it work like this intentionally?

did you make a dormitory for your prisoners to sleep into together also is there enough room?
this also works in holding cells

I know putting a bunk bed in a cell doesnt increase capacity nor does it make it a cell. There has to be a bed to call it a cell..... adding a bunk and a bed to a cell doesn't add to capacity.
At least it didn't for me

you need 4 squares per prisoner in a dorm, except your using the minimum size of 2x3. This dorm can hold 2 prisoners.

4 squares per prisoner - okay that might be what i'm doing wrong.
Would this change when taking the improvement from the lawyer that removes minimum size requirements?

no, that dont improve. This just removes the minimum size of 3x2 for a normal cell

Ok thanks. I guess dormitories are rather ineffective in that case. :)

well, you can save a lot of space, as you need less walls. Problems are digging and privacy need. I personally prefer 1x3 cells :o)

I like to mix em up. I Use 1 big dorm (100 prisoners) for min and normal so that they apriciate the good cells if they earn them.

Earn them?
I haven't seen a way to assign a specific cell to a specific prisoner.

But if you're using bunkbeds, shouldn't your room be 200x200 in size to hold 100 prisoners? Hmm, actually thinking about there not being any walls - that might just be more efficient use of space indeed.
