Visitation room with visitation booths...
Can you have the visitors entrance on the edge of your prison as long as you block the length of the room with booths (and then have where the prisoners enter from the inside-side of the prison)?

Yes, you can do that

I do a similar system where prisoners are all seperated from visitors. It's the same principle, but it just means my room isn't so long.

I do this all the time and it works great. Sadly the visitation right grants wants you to use visitation tables :(

You can build three tables ANYWHERE and then uninstall them immediately afterwards.

OR you could go down the 'prettyness' route and use them as decorative tables for a picnic area or similar! :)

Make the Vis room to finish the grant and move your vis tables to parole rooms. If you can't max out 3 parole rooms, you run seriusly small prisons.

The Vist Booth (That is missing in the V2 preview), is brilliant, because you can put it anywhere on the edge of your prison and no matter where it is, the visitors will travel to it, it even seems to inteligently choose rooms, so even if a prisoner has access to more than one, the visitor will join the one that make the prisoners travel the least. (maybe it get assigned like kitchen/canteen stuff, just without us being able to see it.)

I either do that already, but not the most effective way to run a prison if you ask me ;)
So what I do now is to use them for low security prisoners and the normal and high sec gets the booths :p
