sprite sheet downscaled problem
I've just installed the game and when it starts a message says "sprite sheet downscaled" and the graphics are worse than low. It also says than can be caused by a graphic limitation (gtx970) and by mods (i've no one)
Anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks

Having same problem. Game was perfectly fine & playable back around June, but now everything randomly decided to go blurry & look like someone went a little too bonkers with the MIPmapping. Isn't playable in this state.

This is a fresh re-install of the game now and I have no mods added. Was working before, but now it's not.

I'm getting this too, its telling me sprite sheet downscaled probably due to too many mods. But I do not use mods, and never have used mods. Help?

EDIT: starting in safe mode, quitting, and starting in normal mode fixed it for me

Any information on what's causing this? I've never seen a game do this.

Hey! I've fixed it disabling the second screen.

I'm having the same problem. Been playing PA since the early Alphas and I've never had it give me this message. Tried a number of things, from unsubscribing to all my mods (all two of them), verifying game cache, uninstalling and reinstalling PA, manually deleting the Workshop folder in Steam, etc. Nothing has worked, the message keeps coming up every time.

Yeah getting this error too and I don't have a second screen.

You don't have to have a second screen. Your computer just thinks you do have one and runs the game on it. Kind of weird behaviour.

The solution step by step is:
1.right-click on a empty space on your desktop
2.click display settings
3.now you should see an indication that you have 2 screens attached - as in there's a 1 and a 2.
4.press identify to figure out which output is attached to your screen
5.put the "multiple displays" setting to "show on x" where x resembles the identifier number that was returned by the "identify" command

This worked for me on Win10 - i guess it more or less similar on all windows platforms.
