Guards Wont Move Uniforms

So i must admit i am doing a slightly different build. My prison is 100% in-doors (save a "central" yard). Most of my prisoners are complaining about their need for clothing... i built a laundry area as normal then i noticed... the guards will go and unload the trucks with the uniforms but then they will just drop them and leave. They never actually take the uniforms into the prison and deposit them. This is a pretty big issue as im doing a max sec prison so the smallest thing sets them off... not having clean clothes is actually costing me a fortune with all the breaking and fighting going on.
Has anyone else had this issue? anyone know a fix?

Janitors move the clothes, not the workmen or guards. If you don't have any, they won't get moved.

Didnt know they changed that... well i do have Janitors... but they are too accupied with cleaning my jail it would appear... so maybe spam out some Janitors until they decide to move the clothes??

Inmates also move uniforms from the laundry to the rooms when set to work in the laundry. They don't bring in new ones but they do clean and deliver old ones. If you have a large, fully staffed and fitted laundry it should provide all the clean clothes you need. Make sure you have enough baskets for your inmates to collect and deliver clothes from.

Make sure the delivery area is accessible to prisoners. For some reason, if the prisoners can't get to the delivery area to get the clothes, neither can the Janitors.

I got this problem with a full indoor prison as well. My take is that laundry basket are managed on a cellblock level and in your case you have a huge cellblock. The basket is deposited in some random place taht is way far from your cells, they start not delivering them to cells.

The prison is actually split up nicely actually (hard to run a 2 stage prison if it didnt). The issue isnt that the prisoners wont do laundry... the issue is that the clothes wont go from the delivery site into the prison. Clothes come in on the truck, they get offloaded into the delivery area, they sit there.
I am going to try to take the suggestion that Emmote brought up and see what happens. I do know that it is the guards who go and take the uniforms off of the trucks then place them in the delivery area, and in previous prisons ive had they would put them in the laundry area... but we will see, i will work to get that kind of access for my prisoners and see if it helps.
