laundry and janitor issues
im having quite a lot of trouble getting laundry's to work, my prisoners just stand around doing nothing in the laundry room while the tag says 'working'. janitors dont even come into the laundry room except for cleaning the floor. Nearly the entire 220 man prison is crying for clothes and nothing happens in the laundry's.

also the janitors just run around in groups from one dirty spot to another dirty spot on the other end of the map

If the prisoners are just standing around it's because theres no work to be done if you assign less prisoners to work in the laundry room then maybe the prisoners can finish in x amount of time. also the janitors clean dirty spots and help with laundry if there is any to do

If you've unlocked micromanagement, make sure that the laundry is set to supply cells with clothes (check logistics). Otherwise please post a screenshot.

ok so ive played some more with the issue persisting even in new blocks i made. As requested ill add some screenshots.
Somewhere with searching people have been saying i should edit the .prison file but i have no clue how and if its even neccesary

Two things stand out, but I think it's just a difference in our playstyle, not necessarily affecting the laundry issue. Try dismantling the laundry carts, and replacing them "right-side up". I have no experience rotating them sideways like that, and I'm sure it doens't affect the way that they work, but who knows.

Also - the logistics screen (third screenshot), looks off to me. I put more doors in my prison to zone off areas, but it seems odd that such a large area is registering as one single zone. As a test, try putting a door at the entrance of one of the cell hallways to see if a smaller "zone" plays better with the laundry mechanics.

Like I said, I think this is a difference in playstyle, but those are the only things that I can think of.
