How to clear trees?

I want to get rid of all the trees on my plot of land. How do I?

Start a game with no forest enabled. Or click the trees one by one and Dump them, so no tree stumb stays behind.

Dismantle them.
You find the Dismantle tool in the Items menu
This leaves you with three wood logs.

If you want to remove them WITH stump you have to bulldoze/dump them
That will NOT give you wood logs.

Just build over trees and workers will dismantle them as they go and then you can sell the logs. I always play with forests enabled, its free extra money. The stumps go away after a little bit on there own no need to worry about bulldoze.

go to materials and select dirt then place it on all of the spots where the trees are and it will dismantle them all and you will also get the wood to sell

Why pay for dirt when you can just dismantle and make money without spending anything?
