Capacitors don't connect to generator
My power keeps cutting and I've got like a bazzilion capacitors but they make no difference. I think I am connecting them the wrong way, but I don't know how they should be connected otherwise. Please help?

A power station can support 16 capacitors.
They have to be directly adjacent to it

If you have two power stations on the same network you cannot run them, they will short each other.

A larger prison will require several generators which may not be connected to each other.

you can only build 16 capacitors for each generator right next to it all the way around it (touching and clircling the generator) and dont have more than one generator connecting into the same line, also if you overload the generators they will shut down (power bar filled comletely).

basically i find building 4-8 generators depending on the prisoner capacity your going for will determine your size and power needs and place the generators accordingly, a generator room is 7x7 with generator in middle and capacitors filling in the empty squares.

i also build my generators outside of my prison and not in the same room as the water pump :)
