If you want to play their versions, open the beta tab from your library. You have the original 1.0 release and the final version from 2018 that includes all updates from the original developers.
Paradox isn't going to give back the game, introversion doesn't even want it. This wasn't like they stole it from them, they bought it from a company that was done developing it.
you are the opposition that keeps the paradox in the foreground, but you don't see the back side, you wouldn't be so sure if you knew what's going on behind.
this may be causal but the previous answer was rude and defensive
WTF are you talking about? How am I the opposition?
I don't want Paradox in charge of anything.
I'm simply telling you what actually happened, I've been here playing this game for nearly a decade, I was here when Prison Architect was launched with crowd funding, went alpha and then got put on Steam.
I'm simply telling you what the original developer (who self published it) actually stated, they chose to sell the game because they no longer wanted Prison Architect to be their full time life's work, Introvesion is a very small company, Prison Architect had 1 lead programmer (Chris Delay) and he wanted to move on.
Being able to tell you this doesn't mean I'm happy with Paradox, I'm just very aware that they can't "give back the game" as you implied they should.
What you are asking for isn't going to happen, it doesn't matter a fart in the wind what my opinion about it is (or yours)
So don't you sit here and call me the opposition, I don't like what Paradox has done with the game and I'd be more than happy if they put a new developer on this (Paradox owns it but doesn't develop it, they contract it to Double Eleven) or even sold it to a different publisher.
But the one thing that's never going to happen is they won't "give it back" to the old developer/publisher who doesn't even want it.
And even if they did sell it to anyone, they would sell it, not give it.
Nothing about what you've just said about me makes sense, and what you've asked for makes even less sense.
No, the answer was just the facts. Deal with it. I wasn't rude until you decided to call me the opposition. I'd call you much worse at this point, but let's start with blind.
That's all these companies care about. This game acquired positive reviews cause of Introversion, and Paradox bought it knowing they'll get to fool people easily.
Introversion is also to blame in this. They could've just left the game as it was and moved on, there was no need to update it or sell it to Paradox. This was all about money, nothing to do with "mental health".
Blaming introversion kind of ignores you still have access to two of their versions
I already changed mine to negative, there's not much else you can do

Paradox hasn't really done much but break the game for 4 years and here we are. You can play the old versions without the updates if that's what you want. Since you feel it didn't need to be updated, play those versions, it's just that simple
That's just ignorant, introversions 1 programmer worked on this project for most of a decade, when he said he wanted to move on with his life and stop feeling compelled to keep updating it, you might as well believe him. Being a jerk and claiming it was only about the money is just you making stupid assumptions.
Did they make money selling it? Sure, it's a business, they exist to make a profit. But it's also not hard to believe that someone would be ready to move on from a project like this after a freaking decade.
stop commenting nonsense.
If you consider reality to be nonsense, that sounds like you have some serious problems.
The simple fact is, if you don't like the paradox version you can play the introversion releases, both the original and their final update.
If you think the introversion releases are where the game should have ended, they are available, stop crying and go play them and you can completely avoid all of the broken paradox problems.
The only one posting nonsense is you when you post junk like this that doesn't even make sense:
I'm not keeping paradox in the foreground, I'm telling people to play the introversion releases they have available to them. Feel free to keep complaining about paradox all you want.
You've got some very convoluted understanding of what took place, paradox didn't steal the game, they can't just give it back to the old developer that doesn't want it and whether or not it ever gets fixed again you can still simply play the older versions without paradox
When you're ready to actually understand what's going on instead of crying about it, let us know
Now that someone else owns the game (which still has bugs) but new content is being added, the vitriolic spam continues. At least these devs are used to the hate... it's just another day for them. Posting feedback in a polite way might go further (rather than saying eff you devs, I hate you, you ruined the game... nobody is going to take a tantrum seriously).
The new content improves the game and makes it interesting and fun again. Of course fixing the bugs would be great, and it would be amazing to have no bugs left in the game, but it's hard to imagine why anyone would be motivated to serve a community this toxic.
You keep your useless comments to yourself, we don't take you into consideration anymore.
You have become a high level yourself, but you have not been a man. so it is clear and clear that you have no place in this forum.
that's you and what army?
lol, who made you the arbiter of whose opinion matters? you're not. you're just a person. same as we all. everyone gets to share their piece and you don't get to decide who speaks.
did he hire you as a friend?
