you can play the main branch and find out what bugs you run into (i run into very few because of my minimalistic playstyle)
you can switch to the 2018 branch and just play the game as it was before Peedix started breaking it.
I just went ahead and played KSP for awhile rather then Prison architect. If I am going to get frustrated it might as well be for the right reasons.

Another example of a workaround I figured out later for the Gardener problem I mention above is to use the sand flooring in outdoor areas that have room zoning so that the Gardeners don't need to clean them (sand never gets "dirty"). So now my Yards are covered in sand instead of the nice stone, concrete, or paving floor tiles I usually use. Having to look at that all the time was depressing lol.
some floors and rooms need to be "inside" so they need to have a roof, not just to be surrounded by walls.
ie - foundation tool.
if that's not what you meant then apologies, but people complain about things like this since forever and it can be difficult to guess whether the error exists in the game or the user sometimes.
Now: for some reason, probably making it realistic and entertaining, floors get dirty. Ok. No problem. Floors can be cleaned. Part of the management of the prison. Nice. Why not. So I assign cleaners. If they dont clean them anymore, the game is broken.
I already experienced troubles the last time I played it. Why clean there, why not clean there. Why walk strange ways. Why not respond. Why u no work. The problem is always the human who plays the game. If you don't play it, the problem disappears. Still I don't feel like it's all me.
that's an AI, job creation and pathing problems you have. just like everyone because these systems have been repeatedly broken by every single update and DLC.
I dont need workarounds.
I need a game that works.
Plus, I live in a country where there is jurisdiction. Which should protect from buying something, thus owning it, and having it remotely and purposefully being made dysfunctional later on.
This is not a matter of pathfinding, AI, or changing subject. This is a matter of the common sense of a 12-year-old.
"If I can not put the floors I want, it is not working" is very different from what you described later.
