Also, I'm still puzzled why they added a way to make money that requires no management or prisoners (selling power back to the grid). Why?
"Second Chances" has also had some bugs; more serious than "Going Green". For example, Criminally Insane prisoners now provide $0 income. Max-sec provides lower a "Prisoner Grant" than Med-Sec. And For some reason, none of the prisoners working in the new "restaurant" will clean any dishes (despite sinks available). That means, after your first batch of customers, the "restaurant" is left a mess and folks won't visit anymore.
"Going Green" is overpriced and still not fixed. "Second Chances" will probably be the best DLC (especially for the price), when/if they get those critical bugs fixed.
I havent done anything with going green as dont have it just yet. But I do have 2nd chance. I am making a prison now to try it out. Ill test restaurant shortly i hope.
Looking at criminally insane it shows 3,000 per. "I have none so cant test income after that grant though." and maxsec is 1,000 for me. Medium is 500.
So ill get back to you once i can test the restaurant.
I know you can. But that has nothing to do with running a prison, and contributes nothing to the game.
You're looking at money for intake. I'm talking about once you get the prisoners, the daily "prisoner grant" you get from the government.

As can see its becoming common to have solar farms on prison lands.
