Instant Build Mode

Why is there an instant build mode? Everything I build get Insta builded so that there are a lot of wagons full of materials which aren't needed. How can I switch it off? It is really annoying because you have to delete the whole materials so that the wagons with the prisoners can come.

Instant Build is a feature that is enabled when you tick "Enable Tools and Cheats". To disable it in your current prison, open the data registry editor (F1 by default). Scroll down till you find four ticked boxes with the follwing names: ImmediateFoundations; ImmediateTerrain; ImmediateObjects; Immediate Materials.

Once all four are unticked, close that window.

To get rid of all unnecessary boxes, either a) remove your delieveries until there are no more supply trucks, b) designate a large INDOOR space as Storage and let your workmen transport the goods there. Once the room is full, go into your materials and select "Clear Indoor Area". This will cause your workmen to dump everything in that space. Re-designate your storage room and rinse and repeat.

OR USE METHOD C AT YOUR OWN RISK

Locate your prison save file on your PC.
By default the path should be:
C:\Users\[YOURNAME]\AppData\Local\Introvision\Prison Architect\saves\[YOURPRISON].prison
Once located, make a backup of your prison.
Then open the file with an editor (Notepad++ is recommended)
Hit Ctrl + F
Search for: SupplyChain
Clear out the orders from BEGIN Orders (Until) END
Save and load the save file.
