Beta Version
Hello,

I purchased Prison Architect on steam but it was not allowing me to play the latest update. So I did some research and turns out I have to opt into the beta option. I tried to opt into that but it says I needed a beta code to enter. Where do I get this code?

Um... I don't suggest opting into the beta version, there's nothing there for now.

I would like to play the version with the warden mode, but it's not showing up even though it says my game updated in December when the update came out.

For those seeking how to fix this:

1. Go to Your main Steam Settings.
2. Under Account > Beta participation > Select Change
3. Make sure the highlighted option is "Opt out of all beta programs."
4. Go to Library
5. Right Click Prison Architect
6. Select Settings
7. Select Betas Tab
8. Highlight and Select "beta - Upcoming Version for Testing" ***

This should prompt a download once closed. If not, restart Steam.

You can only be a part of one beta at a time. I was not given any option to change "Opt out of all beta programs" under Prison Architect because I was already Steam UI beta enrolled. I was exasperated no Prison Architect option was given on the main Steam settings page. Took me a bit to realize the two operate separately. Kinda user unfriendly.
