If you just started playing the game and want to learn or it's just hard for you, you could try unlimited money or give yourself some more than you get at the begininng.
Lowering daily wages would make this game super easy and you'd end up having a lot of money which wouldn't make a huge difference between playing with low wages and unlimited money.
The beginning is hard but once you set up the workshop, everything becomes easier. Also remember about the grants and forestry (you can make it outside of the prison, gardeners will do all the job.
That's exactly what im using right now, like yours but i change little bit which is upkeep down to $50
Im lowering the daily wages because thats give me easy way to run my prison while im play this game at work, so yeah little bit cheating is alright :D
