Prisoner escape path
Hello,
So my prisoners keep escaping for some reason. They always escape through the front of the prison where my main entrance with all the administration rooms is. There are two guards in a double door hall and its set to the mode where people prefer other entrances or whatever. For me it seems like they escape through that hallway, but I did not see them doing so because I could not catch them leaving the prison, I just always saw them already being on the run. So is there a way in the game to see the escape path prisoners are taking, so that I can find out where they are escaping from? I have two guards at each exit and they still cant catch them

You could try adding some Dog Handlers to the problem areas as the dogs chase after escaping prisoners much faster than guards. You could also train the guards to use Tasers if you haven't already as a guard without a Taser needs to get within fighting distance before the escaping prisoner will stop escaping. With a taser, the guard doesn't need to be as close to stop them escaping. If you are having serious problem in that area, you could even use Snipers and Sniper Towers.

Prisoners that don't have tools to dig out to try and escape (or ropes if you have them enabled) will try to run out of the prison using the path of least resistance, which usually means the front of your prison as there are no other options for escape.

In general, the happier your prisoners are the less they will try and escape so keeping their needs satisfied is the main way you can reduce misbehaviour, and again, you can increase the security at the front of your prison with dogs/tasers/snipers.

Check toilets for tunnels from the cells, there's more than one way out of a prison.
