Mail room overload
So i have noticed recently that my mailrooms are getting overloaded with mail (both unsorted and sorted). I have tried priotising the mail but nothing happens, "workers" just float round the room like they are being paid to do nothing.
Dose anyone know how i can fix this or controll how much mail is coming into my prision.

Mail is processed by GUARDS, not WORKMEN. If your guards are busy, mail will not be processed. You can assign prisoners, but that means guards will not at all engage the mail, so you will have to provide enough manpower and sorting desks, and/or working time.
Usually I work with one sorting desk per daily mail bag per 3hour shift and enough prisoners to man each sorting desks plus one per 5 sorting desks for handling. Example: I get 10 Mail bags per day, that means a mailroom of 10 sorting desks and 12 prisoners and one 3hour shift, or a mailroom of 5 sorting desks and 6 prisoners and two 3hour shifts.

I'm having the same problem, but my guards refuse to even touch the mail.

As I said, as long as you have prisoner work assigned to the mail room, guards won't touch them. Did you check for that?
