Relatar um problema com a tradução

I think those names are silly, but i don't see any problem with it.
Sounds like how other prisoners would nickname someone like britney meaning coward.
Edit: Hitler would make a great deathrow inmate.
Except that's not what's going on, if they added a dynamic nickname system, that would be a cool way to encourage in-universe narative hatred.
This is real world hatred manifesting as ♥♥♥♥ someone put in a game.
I think the option to disable the names of backers would have been appreciated for some.
1. If there's a male crossdresser in a women's prison, the staff sure as hell better beware, and so should the inmates. Without getting into the fact that that information appeared in his file that only the staff would see and then act on, a male prisoner in a women's prison means a man in the shower with them and bunking with them without their knowledge. But it's only a matter of time before they find out, right? And without a doubt some of them will like it and he's going to be a very busy man. He's probably also going to spread around a lot of genital warts and God knows what else. He might get a bunch of people pregnant. He might be a rapist. He might get raped himself.
So, you tell me, should anybody beware or not? Where is the negative stereotype? Where is the perpetuated bigotry? Simply because his inmate file said "Beware!" or is it the fact that he's a male crossdresser in the first place? But that couldn't possibly be it because your advanced progressive brain understands that the mere existence of a crossdresser isn't bigotry or a negative stereotype. There has to be something else and I can only think of one thing: the use of the word "Beware" in his inmate file. Or maybe it's that he's trying to sneak into a women's prison. Still don't see any bigotry, though. Do you? Where?
2. As far as Dindu is concerned, I never offered my opinion of his presence in the game. I only said if a male crossdresser in your women's prison that everybody absolutey should beware of is enough to set you off, your head is likely to explode when you see Dindu Nuffin strolling around. And, of course, your response to that was the typical virtue signaling safe space baby response of immediately flying hot, and with some drivel about the difference between "a game featuring in-universe bigotry, and a game featuring real world stereotypes that perpetuate needless hatred".
The fact is, I do see the problem with that character. I still think it's funny, though, because there's a hell of a lot of Dindus running around real prisons. But I wonder (actually I don't) if you'd put on your moral crusader gear over a Jethro from Alabama who was in for raping sheep or robbing Walmarts to donate to the Trump campaign, or would you just laugh and call it amusing satire protected by free speech laws? But, like I said, I actually don't wonder about it at all because the hypocrisy of you people is a truly shocking thing.
Over to you, and please write something that doesn't look like a twelve year old wrote it.
The funny thing is, the way you've tackled answering my questions just proves you have no idea what you're talking about.
The implications of what they are as stereotypes in the confines of the game means nothing to me, because it's not like, for example, 2 neo-nazi white prisoners beating a black dude in game for being black, that's not an example of racism in a video game, it's an example of a game depicting racism. that's fine, and 100% acceptable.
Stereotypes of any type are bad, the specifics of them don't matter much, the thing they have in common in this context, is that they're both manifestations of someones actual bigotry, "Dindu" and the "Crossdresser" (that for the record, has a vagina and isn't even a crossdresser, rendering the entire "joke" moot), only exist in game because someone, in real life, decided it would be funny to reduce an entire group of people to a joke, which, whether you're willing to defend it or not, is an example of racism manifesting in a video game.
That's the difference between bigotry in video games, and video games depicting bigotry.
Also, I like the subtle mention of free speech laws, I'm using mine to criticize a video game, and some jackasses are trying to stop me, you should go and protect my free speech by telling THEM to shut up, please.
Or, you know, we could just have a discussion and not act like a minor disagreement over a video game is the end of free speech as we know it.
".... only exist in game because someone, in real life, decided it would be funny to reduce an entire group of people to a joke"
But then, you have to be presumptuous because these arguments are always on built on the presumption of wrong-think.
In what way did the way I tackled answering your question prove I don't know what I'm talking about, though? Don't just say it, put your money where your mouth is. Because you never asked any question. There's not a single question mark in your post that I replied to. What you did was, as you people always do, presume to know something and then acted on it, i.e., "if you can't understand the difference.... then this discussion is above the level you're opperating at, probably best to just leave."
The way I responded to you has nothing to do with not knowing what I'm talking about. It has everything to do with my total lack of respect for hyper-sensitive, virtue signaling, safe space babies that argue like twelve year olds.
"Also, I like the subtle mention of free speech laws, I'm using mine to criticize a video game, and some jackasses are trying to stop me, you should go and protect my free speech by telling THEM to shut up, please."
What in hell are you talking about? Who is trying to stop you? Name one person in this thread that's trying to stop you from exercising your blessed free speech rights. Go ahead, name just one of them. And what's with the special emphasis on "THEM"? I don't recall telling YOU to shut up. There's this, though: "probably best to just leave." but I can't remember who said it. Oh, that's right... you said it.
You said this too: "if you're so upset by that, get off of the community hub"
Tighten up, Fim. The level you're "opperating" at is painfully low.
I don't exactly think you uh..know how this game works.
I also don't think you know how steam refunds work, either.
I also think I do know how steam refunds work, if it took them more than 2 hours to find out about this thing they don't like then that's just too bad, they could try anyways though, worth a shot.
