After firing them all hiring a new one worked, he built the wall instantly (before firing them all it didn't matter how many i hired they just stood around)
Just seems like there are a lot of little bugs like this I'm running into. For example now I'm having a problem because my staff won't use the toilets in the staffroom, so their bladder/bowel needs are full and staff morale is super low... Yet no matter how many toilets I build they just won't use them.
First I put them behind doors (like stalls in a bathroom), then I removed the doors, then I removed the walls that formed the stalls... nothing. As far as my staff is concerned the toilets in the staffroom just don't exist.
The game itself is so great and has so much depth, it makes these little game breaking bugs all the more annoying.
i find the game better without them on
Probably never the worker, but the construction material is somewhere which can't be reached.
Or storage/deliveries is full so the material can't spawn.
Staff not using toilets = staffroom not marked as StaffOnly, or an old mod interfering which didn't define StaffCanUseFacilities for that room.
