Planning to try making a big prison and need tips
First i have 3 million resale value is that good enough to start a big 500+ prisoner prison if i use dormitories, i also need tips on efficency which is my main problem mainly travel efficency mostly from dormitories to canteen, how wide should my mainly used corridors should be, what should i put near the front, this is going to be my first indoors only prison (prisoners dont go outside) anything i need know, what should be located closer to the dormitories, is their anything i could do to make privacy a better even if it was just a bit, if i shouldnt use dormitories then what else should i use thats pretty space efficent (because of prisoners digging tunnels i want my cells to be more centered so i can keep track of the tunnels without having to abuse the ai, dogs and perimeter walls), how much cookers per prisoner and how many freezer per cooker

If you are making an indoors-only prison, I suggest making a bunch of airlock sort of structures near the entrance of your prison. You can also make a common hallway where all the prisoners can access rooms like Chapels or Libraries to fulfill their needs. If you are making one large cell block of dormitories that will be serviced by only one massive canteen, you should make the Canteen as close as possible to the dormitories. That way, the prisoners can quickly travel to the Canteen and eat their food, while not taking up as much space or causing a food shortage. In terms of cell design, if you don't end up using dormitories, still place the Canteen close to the cell block. If you are making a large prison, I suggest that you make the hallways pretty wide, up to about 4 blocks wide, if you can. Then, use the directions tool from the Deployment menu to make one side of the hallway going in one direction and the other going in the other direction. In terms of the Privacy need, prisoners will sometimes stay in their cells during free time when their roomate(s) are out doing something else. They can fulfill their Privacy need in this way. If that doesn't seem to work, you can use the nuclear option and put them in solitary. Prisoners will still satisfy the Privacy need while in solitary confinement. Once you unlock the "Small Cells" research through bureaucracy, use this cell format: http://www.loversiq.com/o/217186167/architect-high-density/217186/ . In terms of kitchen needs, you need one cooker for every 5-10 inmates. You should have at least one freezer per cooker that you have; however, you can get away with using less. You should have 1-2 cooks per cooker, but you can also use less and not drastically affect your gameplay.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

And how would i go about handeling tunnels? Just leave a hole in a perimeter wall and leave 2 dog patrols constantly watching it like i usually would?
Yes, that is one good way to deal with tunnels. I would just make sure you are using J.W. Periwinkle as the warden when you use that strategy. You should also have nightly cellblock searches to clear the prison of contraband and tunnels each night.
You can also forgo workshops, though this is rather extreme. No workshops = no wooden pickaxes. Unless you have certain mutators enabled, every other digging tool is metal. A few metal detecting check points in the main traffic areas should do the trick. One can be foiled, but multiple not so much.

If they're going to bed and you see no tools in circulation, then you got no diggers.

Or you could use the mutator that makes metal detectors detect everything, though you might consider that cheating.

Im planning to add door servos and door control sysytems and ive never used them before any tips? I need to know the difference between the 2 systems and i also need to know if they have a limit in either range or the amount of doors they can connect too. Heck ill probably need a full rundown....
You don't have to connect the door servos to anything. You just have to connect the door control system to the door servo. The door servo's gear must be directly over the door for it to be remotely operated. It can work will all types of doors. You are not limited on how many doors you can connect to the control system, but the guard can only open two of the doors at a time. If three staff members need to get through three different remote doors (which can only be opened remotely), and the door servos controlling the doors are only connected to one control system operated by a guard, the guard will only open two of the doors. The third staff member will have to wait until the guard closes the other two doors to be let through his door. If you need any more info, feel free to ask :)

Yeah, the order you connect things in is important. The component you start with is basically the trigger.
