staff constantly annoyed
I have 2 staff only canteens & kitchens that are easily accessible -yet half the staff is 'furious' they can't get their food need met. The cooks are cooking & the serving tables have food on them & I see guards in the 2 canteens eating, but half of them are furious? Why? Also -the food trays just sit on the tables. Once in a while someone will clean off one or two -but mostly the tables are filled with food trays. I have plenty of sinks, cooks & janitors, but no one seems to clean up the staff canteens -the prisoner canteens are fine. The guards also complain about entertainment & comfort. I don't think I can give them any more items in the staff rooms. Bathrooms, tv's, radios, books, pool tables, drink machines & weights benches. Why are they all complaining? I have more then a few staff rooms scattered around my prison & I do see guards in there, but when I check their needs, many are dissatisfied. They are becoming more demanding & annoying than the prisoners! How do you make the guards happy?

The canteens need to be designated as staff only. Same with comfort. You need to build a staff room with some sofas, drink machine and a serving table, maybe some toilets if you dont already have staff only toilets. make sure its all staff only.

In her first sentence she clearly said

The system is slightly bugged. I too have two staff canteens but only one of the serving tables is being filled up and my staff are 'furious' they can't eat.. when they can!

Gotta redesign entire prison to have the one staff canteen central

There's a bug at the moment if you have more than one staff canteen/serving table it completely borks the fetch-and-carry AI up.

I'm sure they'll fix it in the next bugbash though.

I guess until it's fixed, I'll just turn off staff needs. I tried a few different things from other answers on the board, but nothing seems to work. It does look as if only one 'staff only' canteen will work right now. I'll leave that prison for now & build a new one, making sure staff needs is turned off. I hope the fix comes soon, as I like the idea, but it's definitely not working out. Thanks!

I did some experimenting.

It's the k9 guards that cause the major problem.

I had 10 k9 guards. and 10 guards "furious" they couldn't meet food demand.

I put serving table in kennel instead of staff canteen...... NO MORE FURIOUS GUARDS?!

The k9 guards started eating. only problem is the other 80 ordinary guards piled into the kennels to eat!! WTF is that

hopefully they'll iron these flaws out in the next bug bash, as hilarious as it is seeing 90 guards eating very unheigynically in dog poop and doggy hairs. it's because armoury and kennels are also flagged as staff rooms. so staff are getting confused as to where to go on their break!

My Dog-Handlers eat in the staff canteen and aren't pissed off^^ I have no problems with them.

But I can confirm that obviously only one serving table gets refilled with staff food, when you have more than one staff canteen (or staff rooms with a serving table in it).

But I have the problem that serving tables in staff canteens were filled with prisoner food, which the guards don't eat.
Strangely this seems to have to do with mods that fix some sprites, means, they just fix graphic stuff, for example the mod "Kitchen fridge / cooker sprite fix".
When I disable these mods, the filling of staff serving tables with prisoner food is much less, but nevertheless now and then they put prisoner food on them.

Anyone else has that problem?
