What makes "clothing" need rise?
My prisoners have this need all the time on max, yet they get new clothing every day.
I edited the savegame to set ALL needs of my prisoners to 0.
2 ingame hours later, many prisoners have their clothing need on max again??

My yard is mostly grass... could this be the cause?

Do you have a laundry room ? Is it big enough ? Are there any of these laundry rooms around your prison ? Those could be possible explainations... How do yoiu know they get new clothing every day ?

Is it raining outside? Rain spikes their Clothing needs.

Do you provide enough toilets? When an inmate can't get to a toilet in time, they soil themselves, making their clothing need skyrocket.

My solitaries have nothing but a drain in it. Make sure you have a laundry room :steamfacepalm:

Clothing need rises either because of not getting to a toilet in time or from weather. Usually it rises naturally because the prisoners want to have new clothing that is clean and fresh instead of the same atire.

I was following them around to see the point when it rises.
It seems to rise a few points after eating and when they are walking outside sometimes... without charging up but the need appears suddenly in no time.
I am going to watch out for the weather. Never realized there was weather.

Thanks

Weather is optional to have in the game so if you never toggled it then you dont have to worry.
