My prisoners go to bed at 11pm and shower at 5am. Lockdown for an hour before a one hour eat. Then they either work or go back to their cell.
Seems like you believe in reform as well! I've also noticed that if I give prisoners enough free time (especially during the evening), some of them prefer to sleep over taking care of any other need. I don't think it's a problem though, because that's what free time is for, to, if necessary, also catch up on sleep you lack at night.
I've never really had it stand out too much. I'll just catch the occasional prisoner sleeping, but that's about it. Is it a problem for you?
The sleeping time is 8pm to 8am. So if you give your prisoners any lockdown/freetime after 8pm , they will go to sleep and wake up at 8am OR at the time you tell them to do something else.
So, if you want them to sleep less, don't give them any lockup/freetime after 8pm, you can do yard/eat time. And when you think its ok for them to go to sleep go for the lockdown/sleep.
I mainly want them to fill some of their needs in the evening just so that its not critical in the morning. Like the recreation and family. Ive had prisons before where the first hour, every single prisoner goes mental every day because oh my god they haven't had a chance to watch a soap opera or used the phone since waking up.
