Lockup and Bangup question?

I know what they do but when would you actually use them and in what situation would they be useful I just find it hard to know what the use is for these?

1. Lockup is for when you don't want to give your prisoners too much Freetime, because it entails Reoffending Rate influence
2. Bangup is used to put people into the cells, usually before a predictable riot, such as trouble caused by events and unfulfilled demands.

lock up is handy when prisoners escape it locks the cell they escaped from..usaly a tunnel
bangup is for if you want all the prisoners to go back to there cells.

I find bangup handy when theres fighting or riots going on. Makes sure no more prisoners are involved
