Staff toilets?

My prison is basically split between staff and prisoner i.e seperate power lines, buildings. I added "staff needs" when i started cause i thought it would be cool, but my staff won't use this 10 toilet massive restroom I added. Do the toilets need to be in a certain room, like the staffroom?

Make stalls then and yes you can put the serving tables there it doesn't need to be that big

For anyone stumbling over this thread: You can just make a room equipped with toilets/toilet stalls and mark it as "Staff Only" in the "Deployment" section, and they will use them. ;)

Do whatever Vidkun said, it's exactly right.

make toilets for your staff but make sure you do not assign the toilets within the Staffroom Room area.

Since usually you build walls around the toilets,it will FAIL the Staffroom requirements of Size (your toilet might be 1x2 or 1x3). So do not assign them as Staffroom from Rooms.

just build the toilets, don't assign any room to them, and go to Deployment and make the toilets Staff only area and it will work this way, like Vidkun said.

if you still need help I'll upload screenshots and explain..

For Canteen, when you assign your Canteen as "Canteen" from Rooms, also go to Deployment and assign the same area as Staff only... the name will change to "Staff Canteen" and there you go.

Also I suggest adding a Sink next to the Serving table, so your food trays don't travel a long way to get washed, unless your kitchen is in close range.
