Why aren't cooks serving food?

i have many cooks, and all the food are ready to be served. When it's time to eat, the cooks don't serve any food, they just wander the kitchen. There isn't anything blocking them from serving the food aswell.

Sorry, but what does that mean? I thought the cooks serve when they're done cooking. Try opening the pic again.

Go into Logistics > Food Distribution, and you should get a screen that looks like this:

Make sure there are yellow lines, dotted or solid, connecting your kitchen to your canteens. If there's not, click on the kitchen then the canteen. (Also, dear god, what have you done to get 561 dead bodies...)

... I think what you have there is several doors into your canteen marked for different securities, is that right?* Unmark the interiors of those doors as part of the canteen. Also, in that Food Distribution view, click on each cell block and assign them to the proper, large canteen. I think they're all being sent into those cubbies to eat, and so there's no demand for food in your proper canteen.

EDIT: *or whatever those are in the top-right and on the far left.

Another issue i found was that after expanding my kitchen and moving some objects around was that some cooking food was glitched and stopped the cooks from delivering food to the canteen. Dumping all the cooking food cleared the problem and cooks started cooking new food and delivering it to canteen.
