Buy the Steam or iPad-version of the game?
Hello!

As the title suggests, I'm pretty unsure on which version to get..
I've tried the iPad-version for a short while now, and I like it so far! But the touch-controls feels awkward and sometimes even limited as if I would've used an mouse.. But on the other hand it's cheaper than the Steam-version, which I believe won't be updated with new content anymore(just bugfixes, but people say that they don't seem to fix them). I doubt the iPad-version will get more content(except for escape mode), but from what I've heard it's got more fixed bugs and it'd be nice to have it on the go.

So what do you guys think, which version is "the best"?

It really seems like a great game to kick back and relax, would just like to know if they'll ever update it again with new stuff.. Hasn't been a bugfix for about 6 months now
I am more addicted on iPad version. I guess it is because iPad is easier to reach and to play on the couch. :D PC-version is fun with MODs but when there is a iPad version for this kind of click and touch game, I always go for iPad-version.

I got my PC-version in the bundle sales. The game is much worthy than the price I paid for. I am almost sure the summer sales will give this game a big discount because this is not a new game anymore. If I were you, I will buy an iPad-version. Because it is just released and it is quiet hard to get discount for in-game buy. You can play chapter 1 on iPad to give it a try.

Note: iPad-version is released by Paradox, a famous company for strategy game Skylines. They read all negative feedbacks on iTune store which has surprised me. That's why I bought iPad-version as well. But kind of regret because moooooore addicted than I thought. lol

I tried out chapter one and trial(walls got bugged to the point where I couldn't continue..), but I bet it's great once you get the hang of stuff! I think I'll go for the PC version first though, and then iPad at some point in the future when I don't need it on PC.

But I'm still unsure if I should go for the full price on Steam or some cheaper way.
I ended up buying the PC version after playing the iPad. The game crashes became so bad that it was unplayable. So far the PC version is so much better in every way. Ended up deleting it off the iPad.

6.99 according to SteamDB during sales[steamdb.info], would be pretty stupid of me not to wait until the 22th(rumored date) to buy it! Guess I'll just have to find something else to play while I wait.
I will wait for the 20 euro. :p You can have a look at GOG. GOG has the Spring sales now. It is different platform than Steam but I highly recommend this site. All games you buy there are DRM-FREE.

If you like strategy games, I can recommend you Shadowrun Hong Kong, Kingdom Rush 1&2 and Invisible. The last two have iPad-version as well. Don't Starve and Stardew Vally are also very addicted. I think you will discover more there. Good luck!

Update: Prison Architect is also on sale on GOG. It is now 6.99 euro!

That's a pretty good deal! But that's another client and not Steam key, correct?
You will not get a steam key. You can download games from there and save games on your harddisk. That means if oneday the client doesn't exist anymore (you never know), you can still play games on your own computer. It is DRM-FREE.

Doesn't sound too bad, but it'd be nice to have it in my Steam library. Does the GOG version have any sort of cloud sync so I can play it on different computers simultaneously?

I don't know so much about it. You can read their FAQ or just mail them for further information. Good luck!
