Buy the Steam or iPad-version of the game?
Hello!

As the title suggests, I'm pretty unsure on which version to get..
I've tried the iPad-version for a short while now, and I like it so far! But the touch-controls feels awkward and sometimes even limited as if I would've used an mouse.. But on the other hand it's cheaper than the Steam-version, which I believe won't be updated with new content anymore(just bugfixes, but people say that they don't seem to fix them). I doubt the iPad-version will get more content(except for escape mode), but from what I've heard it's got more fixed bugs and it'd be nice to have it on the go.

So what do you guys think, which version is "the best"?

Yeah that's what I suspected, but I'm still a bit unsure.. Is it significantly better on PC?

Hm, I suppose. So you'd recommend the PC version over the iPad then? Looked around a bit more and it seems like a better bet. Still a bit expensive though..

I reccomend pc, yes.

I think I've made up my mind, going for PC! Might end up getting the iPad-version at some point in the future, crossing my fingers they won't abandon the game completely!

Cool! Which version would you recommend starting out on?

Well it depends on you, i like both and both have the same amount of content so far - okay stuff needs is very "new" therefore its not in the ipad version yet and the escape mode is not yet in - but i am more for the simulation part of the game to build and hold a prison rather than the "fun mode"
if you like to do things on the go take both and do the greater projects at pc for example and use the mobile to doo some experiiments

I feel like I should get familiar with the game first, so maybe PC first and iPad later! I also got a good deal on the game, can't wait to start playing!

Not sure if I should pick Steam or something like Kinguin to buy it(~10€ there, but you never know where the key's from). I want to support the dev too, but I would just like to know if they're planning on new content or if they're really dropping it completely before I drop 28€ on a build/management game.

First of all it depends on your pocket money you like to spent. If you want a discount get it on steam in the next few weeks- there will be a summer sale and i am really sure that there will be a good discount on this

The reason why I wanted to get it now is to have something to play while I'm waiting for my new rig(unsure when I order it). Do you think the sale'll be good? Still atleast 3 weeks left if the rumors are correct.

Money isn't really a problem, just wasn't prepared to pay "that much" for a game that I'll probably just play for the next few weeks.
