[Linux] Crash after rejecting UI tutorial

Play and click through to UI tutorial question. Select "no I'm fine". Crash.
100% reproducible. Gentoo Linux.

idem on Ubuntu 12.04 6'bits with or without doing the UI tutorial
The game runs fine on the same computer with windows XP

When I accept the tutorial it continues. When I reject it, it crashes (reproduced this twice).

Same on Gentoo 64 Bit, playing 32bit version.
Also crashes if I try to make a new chapter 3 game. It works in the 64bit version but there I have no steamworks integration -> no achivements ...

Same problem on Debian Wheezy 32bit... just bought this in the steam sale. I am kind of disappointed. In fact it crashes if I do the tutorial or skip it.

Yes, but I have just managed to get a workaround which is running a 64 bit raven executable. Have you tried it?

Thats the problem.
The catalyst driver is buggy on unity3d games (like raven, beatbuddy, ...). Maybe only on 32bit.

If i use the open source driver gallium or pluged in a nvidia card, there are no problems (crashes) with unity3d games.

That's good to know. I will try to run it on 32 bit mesa to check the compatibility.

After the test, I confirm the post-tutorial crash occur only when catalyst driver is used and the game is ran in 32 bit mode. The only workaround I know is to run the 64 bit version of the game with no connection to steam. On the intel driver with mesa libraries the game runs just fine with high settings.
