RAID is a free to play game, however we do advertise in-game offers to our player base, as well as making news publication, that also appear in pop-up massages. We are working on improvements to our pop-up algorithms to be less disruptive to the paler gaming experience. However, during holidays or celebrations, there can be quite a lot of massages regarding game events, updates and offers.
Sorry if it caused any inconveniences, we are working on further improvements in this system.
yeah there are tons of other free to play games out there that offer micro-transactions. how about you stop acting like you are the only one to justify of your predatory ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
The mentioned pop-ups are an important part of the game and are quite useful for many players. Of course, we can see them being too intrusive, but all approaches have their pros and cons, to be honest. Thus, we settled on the approach of providing players with various prompts (including those for offers) that you may currently see in the game.
That being said, we do consider other ways of improving the way the game shows you various pop-ups.
The pop-ups aren't an important part of the game at all - they are an important part of monetisation for your, not the players', benefit.
This is basically a gambling game, and as such deserves to have an appropriate warning attached.
And before you devs, who happen to be a subsidiary of a casino machine maker, start to wail about adults having free choice, this game is readily available to minors and those vulnerable to addictive tendencies who lack the ability to make informed personal choices.
There isn't much gaming to be had in RAID outside of a pokie machine (as they're known in Australia, and in England as electronic muggers). In fact the odds of anything decent dropping anywhere in the game, even when paid for, is extremely limited, far worse than those dictated by certain jurisdictions I believe.
So please, devs, stop the bovine faeces so insulting to your players and either edit this game into a less manipulative and addictive game, and it could be a damn good one, or simply admit you're out to prey on and extort as much money as one can from the vulnerable and children.
You have no intention of lessening these annoying pop-ups because it is very easy to do and you would've done so by now. And yes, I do know what I'm talking about re computer coding.
when i just read that someone who is F2p is getting to the "mid game" .... in THREE YEARS of playing. that's just wrong and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
How's the progress regarding making the popups less intrusive? I don't purchase the offers presented to me and I've played for long enough that it should know that I'm not going to start now just because it's shoving 7+ screen-covering popups per session. For a user like me, it's not an important part of the game, and if anything makes me want to stop logging in because I know I'll be constantly bombarded with them if I do log on. I understand that, as a rule, it makes you more money; but I've heard ideas being discussed about algorithm implementations making things better for the user experience like with regards to popups, by you, and yet I see no change. As far as I can tell, the responses are solely damage control with no intention of adequate follow-through because that will likely make everyone more money than to test popups becoming less intrusive for the players who don't spend money.
At this point all I can say that we will mentioned this feedback to the devs. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in any event.
Anyway, fun game, even for us po folk :-D And yes, you can get quite far in this game without putting a ton of (Or any really) money into it. I look at it this way... in order to progress you will either have to spend time or you will have to spend money. If you have little of either, it's probably not a good game for you.
