RAID: Shadow Legends

I'm curious, do paying players do the math?
At least you potentially moderate spenders, and aside from deliberations not revolving around money (like, obviously you're gonna be more likely to spend on champs you *want* for sympathy, filling a role/power vacuum or other reasons).
I don't want numbers, it's more like a yes/no answer to either question. Do you do the math? Do you just do rough estimates and bankroll what you're missing? Do you do impulse purchases?

With the yuletide thing right now and the oh so generous 40 points given away for free...just bankrolling a single event or tournament for the top rewards (from scratch) sounds quite insane to a sardine in a sea of whales. I know those will either not give a single flying fudge coated cookie about money or get their benefits through not quite legal means (credit card chargebacks say hi), but everyone else? I know I'm a quadruple-and-then-some-times penny pincher but even when I was trying to get a legendary, which I currently don't, none of this would be something I would even consider.

From my F2P experience, getting through such an event hustle (fragments, path, fusion, whatever) requires months and months of saving AND then power playing everything almost 24/7. On the other hand, going through it all, it suddenly sounds almost reasonable to pay 40-ish bucks for a legendary in a champion pass (in comparison, shard prices are properly insane, and fragments like 12 bucks per 5 missing ain't very funny either). Especially skipping all the effort it takes, it does make sense why people are willing to pay just from that pov alone.

If the game actually lives up to what I'm led to believe in that news post, meaning we'll actually get 500 snow points with daily shop gifts, that would actually be something. It would be a first so I can't say whether I would or wouldn't look forward to eating my words, not the worst of outcomes I'll say though.

Sadly it won't help me get Nicholas, I don't have the resources savedthat I would need fot it, but the 500 points would have gotten me closer than every :P (I think the most I had was 1300ish in the past, once)

In terms of resources, I would regard the titan event as a fusion. The plarium will give us 500. We can get 2500/2000 essentially. It won't be easy. I now have 450 titan event points. Now. 8 december.
Nicholas is not a valuable champion. It is only needed by beginners for an unkillable team. For a beginner, this is an important champion.
I, like many, take it only because it is void in the hope of its strengthening and synergy with the woman from fusion December 2024.
P.S. save more resources. for example, I now have 77 sacred shards and 17,000 gems, so I can afford it. I am 100% f2p and have never paid money to this game. tactics - defeat the clan boss + save resources for such events.
He-Man...this champion looks good but not essential. I'm not sure I would have invested resources into it if they had given it to me. I have big doubts about him. Payers will certainly take it for collection.

these 500 points are not help, it is trap.
this is done so that you feel the illusion that this event will be easy. took part, failed and spent money to complete.
this event may be more expensive than a regular fusion. but in fact there is a loophole - if you did fusion Stokk The Broken and ignored
Champion Chase Tournament where plarium generously included 2x on all shards. Then in this case you will do Summon Rush as part of the fusion Stokk The Broken. This intersection will save resources overall.
Then if you miss those 500 points at the beginning or middle of the event, I predict a titan crossing path with the December fusion events.
Thus, titanium events intersect with 2 fusion.
.
updated: 480 snow points received.
Today is still December 8th...everything is just beginning.
