Why is there such hate about Raid being on Steam?
I am trying to understand why on Earth people are complaining about a mobile game being released onto Steam. It is on Epic Game Store and has it's on launcher for PC so what is the issue with it being accessed on Steam?

There are no issues of EA titles,, Activision titles or Blizzaard titles being available on steam and they as companies are by far the worst in terms of "giff me money".

Raid is entirely viable as a f2p game, I have 2 alt accounts running that are 100% ftp and competitive with the current meta.

blizz games and activision game are other food, raid is owned by a gambling site, has one of the worst if not the worst anti consumer policy in ny game, and as i said in my rewiew who curently sit at 3rd place of most helpful, game is viable as f2p, what you plarium ass kissers and skers dont say, its the grind who is measured in months and years, and even than, after 4 months youl not even be at a medium level, cause all you need to farm need money, target scores for events and tournments need to skip 3 or 4 of em to get all rewards of one, arena is full of whales, live arena even worse, drop rates are a joke, as a f2p in 115 days saving shards for events i only got 1 legendary drop, legendary books are even harder to find, yes STEAM SHOULD NOT ALOW MOBILE GAMES LIKE PLARIUM ON ITS PLATFORM!

I think the reason is pretty simple: PC gamers hate P2W games, and this game is totally P2W and tries to rub it into your face at every opportunity. Especially since half of the Youtubers you ever watched advertised it as well. It doesn't matter if you can play it as a free2play player, since it still always stay p2w as well.

Go back to spending thousands of dollars on Dota 2 battle levels and stop lying about how much you wasted on RAID Shadowallet.

Because the game was forcefully advertised that people grew hate towards it, it is like "All I want for Christmas" It isn't necessarily a bad song but when you forcefully have to listen to it day after day year after year around every Christmas time eventually you had enough.

I don't recall saying I haven't spent money on the game......I said I have 2 alt accounts that are free2play and they can compete in all aspects of the game.

Does me spending money cause issue for you?

Have to disagree with you there, it isn't pay2win at all. Yes the legendary champs help but it does not unlock everything. You need to have the right gear, right champs to go with them, be at high enough level to unlock content and have an idea on the mechanics of the game.

As I said I have 2 alts and they exclusively free to play. They both are at end game content etc so to claim it isn't ftp friendly is absurd.

I fear that I have to inform you that you have a slight misconception regarding the term P2W. Neither of the things you just mentioned matter in regards to P2W. The only thing that really matter is if the game offers you the ability to use money to get an advantage over other players. And in this game you very much can buy all kinds of things with money, including heroes, equipment and all kinds of materials. And like you just said, both, heroes and equipment, are very important in this game, so being able to get better or more of them by spending money is definitively a very clear sign of the game being P2W. I honestly thought that not a single person would actually dare to argue that this game isn't P2W ... it's just such an obvious case that it's not even worth thinking about it.

And yes, I can very much understand that you tried to say that even without spending any money you can eventually unlock most stuff and do all kinds of content, and I do appreciate that this game does that. But this has just absolutely nothing to do with the fact that this game is still also extremely P2W.

Unlocking features and finding some legendary for free doesn't mean that you can compete with top players who spend milions.
Also, i'd like to know if you can find mythicals for free.
And i'd like to know if you can find all legendaries for free, considering i read certain legendaries can't be found inside shards.
In the meanwhile i keep finding only useless common shards and sometimes blu shards, which seems a joke because of the crap inside them.

Sorry for the delayed response
Ummmm legendaries aren't entirely the be all and end all of the game nor are mythicals. It is about team compositions and finding counters to bosses etc don't get me wrong they definitely come in handy.
The free log in champs are usually very handy, Ultimate Death Knight was a huge game changer tbf.

Well I would say you could get all of the legendaries for free but that would take unreaal luck. Even with spending you'd still be hard pressed to get every legendary, but that is down to the sheer number of champs in the pool.

Yeah certain heroes cannot be obtained as they are either locked behind progress/Doom Tower or were exclusive like the Ninja and current log in champ.
You get a lot of free shards for progressing through the campaign and doing the challenges etc

I would like to add that a very solid indicator of a good F2P game economy for consumers is when the store is restricted to cosmetics only. Things start getting dicey when you add in things like leveling boosts and inventory space, and completely fall off the rails when you add in gacha mechanics and paying for power.

PC gamers of the now are very complainable bout anything... if the game isnt like their favorite game whats so ever, then it gets hated on. This game is F2P - dont have to pay a dime to play it. But if you wanna be on the leaderboards then those are the payer's. So let the payer's fight it out in the leader boards. its really not that hard. but the kids and adults who lives are so messed up. Are going to say get this game off of steam. I think anybody who complains on steam should get off steam. People saying the game sucks, but then have like 1300hrs into the game, smh. The game is good, its actually not a bad mobile game being ported to PC. i want more to come, as long as they add controller support. if not oh well. Have a great day haters
Fish Gaming Jan 14, 2024 @ 4:00am
Some people DO just like to complain for some reason... That being said when people complain about Raid, it's always gonna be related to impatience, it's mildly excessive grinding, and the heavy monetization, even though you can totally play it free and I got all the way through the missions to Arbiter quite easily once I learned how to play it effectively.

I love the game, but it does still have a few very easily noticed problems, so I've learned to simply expect complaints and insults when it comes up as a subject. Even a really good game can have bad features, and Raid has some especially bad ones. I just don't think they come close to outweighing the parts I like about it.

Probably just a case of their favourite content creator shilling out for that sponsorship money :D

Mentally broken gamers that NEED every single character, skin, and gearset maxxed within 5 minutes plus be ranked 1 or they go coo coo crazy, but can invest 3k hours in other games without batting an eye and still be silver ranked
