Steam linux, how to link to plarium ID ? [workaround]
Hello there, I installed the game from steam and it created an ID on the fly. How do I link this ID to a plarium account? When I log in to the plarium web site there is no option to link my steam ID.

for those who have the same question: I had to run plarium play on a windows box to link the accounts
+ IMPORTANT : don't activate 2nd factor authentication else you won't be able to launch the program in steam anymore.

Hi there! You will need to use Plarium Play in order to connect your accounts. There is a relevant discussion here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2333480/discussions/0/4041483920925910761/

Also, I assume you don't have any purely technical issues, but just in case, there was a discussion about launching RAID: Shadow Legends on Linux. This is not a platform on which we can guarantee the application to work smoothly, but people seemed to find some working solutions - https://steamcommunity.com/app/2333480/discussions/0/4041484160863228175/

Thank you Mr developer, just to let you know that Raid works perfectly with the steam install on linux EXCEPT for the events and tournaments tabs.
Can you explain what you are doing differently for those tabs? Maybe then we can find a workaround to make it work.
FWIW, at my old age, RAID is a bit difficult to play on my phone, supporting something like the steam deck would bring new customers I think. I hope you have enough resources to take that into consideration. Thanks for your great game.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the stable work of RAID or any of its systems on Linux, as the game wasn't initially designed with that in mind. That is why we specify Windows OS as a system requirement.

I'm afraid I cannot really delve into the technical details of the implementation of event/tournament tabs. Technical implementation is simply beyond what I can share in public.

Thanks, to clarify I assume you had to install both Plarium Play and Steam on the Windows box, and log into both in order to link. After which you're able to play Raid with that same Steam account on Linux?

No, only Plarium IIRC, it does not need steam on windows.
I also installed another instance on my Linux by using the Plarium play install program (as a non Steam game) and not the RSL provided by steam. In that case, you get the events and tournament also working.
just link use QR code for linking just if have allready on phone you can use code in linux later. But it works. Later you not need anything all is together. You can link plarium to steam too and that plarium you can link to phone, QR code is fastest way.
If you only on linux install wine 10 and install plarium all this works.
What is not working in wine is touching tournaments.
Rest things work. You can go thru all this linking.

Game has wine bug vduplex its main issue but nobody reported that crash mostly tournament and event crashing but not in proton there is few other games too with that vduplex crash. I haveto report tournamnts and events crash to wine if i find time. Dont expect fix willbe fast because this game there all reports are outdated. They need very detailed report if reports run outdated and low activity dont expect something come fast. If wine gets fixed its comes to proton too.
