Seriously, though - it would surprise me greatly if for example they hadn't submitted new builds and had them rejected. For reasons that they are contractually obligated, on the threat of infinite legal action (of the kind that has Sony successfully claim copyright on an actor's face - the Butler commercial guy can apparently still not go within 10 feet of himself again without owing Sony reparations), to keep secret.
In the meantime, plan your future locked platform purchases accordingly. Or better yet, don't purchase products that are locked to a platform at all.
Sony is a little bit different now than what they were in the run-up to the ps3, for example, and no one should think differently, customers or devs.
