Shadow Warrior 1.5.0
- Available for Windows Vista/7/8 and above.
- Added Mac OS X and Linux support.
- Added additional bossfights with Zilla in chapters 13 and 16.
- Added ingame artbook.
- Added DirectX 11 based graphics.
- Added optimization for 32 & 64-bit build.
- Added optimization for SSAO.
- Added optimization for Mirror Effects.
- Fixed many gameplay bugs and minor level bugs.
- Fixed minor bugs for pad controls.
- Fixed minor localization bugs.
- Fixed rare crash when using alt-tab.
- Fixed rare Gozu crash.
- Fixed saving weapon fx's when using non standard katana.

Please note that version 1.5 is not available for Windows XP.

If you have already completed the game - In Shadow Warrior 1.5.0 only the initial save for each level will be available.
All your stats and upgrades will remain the same in the saves, but all your quicksaves and checkpoint saves will become unavailable.

We are sorry for the inconvenience but this was the only way to introduce gameplay changes.

Shadow Warrior 1.1.2
- Fixed a bug that caused the in-game music to stop after finishing the game.
- Fixed particle based lights rendering artifacts.
- Added an option to turn off Alienware AlienFX - in some cases it prevented the game from running (add "d_enable_alienfx 0" in your config.cfg or use it from the console).
- Fixed a bug that allowed to unlock some achievements in Survival Mode.

Getting low on HDD space - Is it safe to delete all dx9 files if I want to play only DX11 version??? (Why should I have both version with 7gigs each when I play only the new one)
Hi, I can't run the "normal" exe since it was patched to 1.5, I can use the XP version tho ... I have Vista and I think that my GPU doesn't take DX11, this could be the cause maybe ? Does the XP version have the Zilla bossfights ? If it has I'll stick to that but if it doesn't I'd really like to find a way to play the normal exe :/ Thanks !

EDIT : Well of course the bossfights are not in the XP versions <.< And I just read that the new patch was for DX11 so I'm not gonna get that. Can we expect the bossfights to be added to the XP version ? I don't see why you guys didn't already ...

Looks like 1.5.0 has some problems caused it has no supports for Chinese and Japanese...but the old 1.1.2(or 1.1.3? not sure, can start that version by choose "WinXP mode" option when start the game) EXE still has it, but no DX11, no Liunx & Mac supports and everything else has in 1.5.0...

Please include an option to turn off the screen tilt while strafing. It's unbelievably annoying.

Nevermind all of that, it seemed like my PC THOUGHT it could only handle dx9 ... I had to do some registry stuff and update dx to get it to work, it was for another game but then I remembered SW, and it worked :D
A little feedback on the patch, my game runs now SMOOTH. That's crazy. I used to run around 25 fps or something, it makes the sword fights a pain in the ass. Didn't stop from playing a hundred hours tho lol. Now I get a little stutter now and then but it's smooth. My PC is ♥♥♥♥ so I'm not surprised about the stuttering. Great patch ! ( Still hope you'll add the bossfight to the old patch tho, some people can't run 1.5.0 and will probably feel like they're missing something cool, which is how I felt before I fixed my crappy PC lol )

This.

I third this. It's on the main menu screen, the in-game menus, the cutscenes, the opening cinematic (not of the actual game).

Not to mention, the subtitles (in English anyways) are still incorrect in some places.

Also, a while ago someone wanted pictures of not being able to pick up small piles of money. These two piles were in Chapter 7, at the very lowest drained sewage level:

I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for this DX11 patch. My first playthrough of the game was marked with performance problems and micro-stuttering but these issues were completely resolved in this update.

I could finally enjoy the game to the fullest and I cannot wait for the sequel!
Is this game CPU-intensive? That would mean Windows 10 would run this game slightly better due to WDDM 2.0 CPU overhead optimization.
I was a bit pissed at a huge download for an update. It's been a really long time since I played the game, but after I finally hadd the bandwidth to finisht he update. I gotta say, I might be trippin, but everything feels so much smoother and looks a little better too.

Good job guys, I was really surprised. I kind of wish I updated sooner. back to starting the game again.

Doesn't seem like the 64-bit version is even Win10 compatible. Disappointing, really.
speaking of patches, i'd laugh if you FWH guys released a patch that added an ability for Lo Wang to give demons the middle finger, ala "Brutal Doom" style. :steammocking:
