Can't Progress Chapter 3 - Sewer

So, I made it to the sewer in Chapter 3 when you're trying to go to Wang's home and the door is not accesable. I reloaded an earlier save but it still didn't work. I am going to retry the chapter from the beginning and see if that works. Has anyone else experienced this?

I figured it out, grabbing the blood fountain to the left in combat was preventing one of the enemies from spawning.
