I expect an explanation from you.
you can choose to cut off an arm, and they'll be alive. Actually, stronger enemies I can cut off all limbs, and watch them flop on the ground like a fish trying to attack me. (while still alive)
I just get the feeling you have not played MGR too much. Ive beat both games.
Not only that, but you can actually cut an arm off from the wrist down. or elbow down. You can choose ANY direction you swing your sword and they will be sliced thoroughly in that direction.
Not like Shadow Warrior where its whatever direction your sword swings, which there is only a couple.
Granted, I LOVED Shadow Warrior's dismemberment system, and if this thread wasnt started I wouldve started it personally.
I just felt MGR definitely competed if not surpassed Shadow Warrior's by a little bit.
Still, both were great for different games.
I was just stating you had a lot more options and control in dismemberment in MGR.
Personally, I didn't play SoF games for long and, for some reason I remember SoF2 looking crappier than the 1st one.
Games with good dismemberment system I can remember are Die by the Sword and Chasm: The Rift. Chasm was the most fun. You could remove somebody's arms and he would try to headbutt you.
