Best dismemberment System since Soldier of fortune 2
this game rocks. I love the gore. There's something so satisfying about plunging your sword straight into a demon's face and watching it split open and explode in a fountain of blood. Not since SOF2 have I had this much fun slaughtering. The difficulty is good to. Start on insane mode :)

Yeah its just too bad this doesn't have multiplayer modes

yeah, imagine 4 wangs running around chopping up demons galore!

Don't even care about DM, but at least a decent co-op mode would be awesome.
Just make it like serious sam and throw a bazillion demons at you at once :D

bits flying everywhere! muahahaha!!

nah, I can barely hold 60fps during massive fights as is, maybe that's why there is no multiplayer!
would need a 12 core 8Ghz CPU just to keep up with what bits of what demon are flying where! :P

we used to play the crap out of that back when I was going to TAFE.
was funny watching 3/4 of the class having a deathmatch during class :)
a killing floor esque coop wave based mode would be awesome. Imagine the carnage!

Due to the reference here, anyone know where to get a legal copy of Soldier of Fortune 2, I miss that game alot and I don't think it's appeared on gog yet! Thanks in advance

wait it has a legit body dismemberment system? Like slash legs - they walk like gimps and slash arms - watch them run around like wingless bleeding chickens?
Only reason SOF dismemberment system was awesome was because of the shotgun. OP as hell and can be tactically useful.

Reminds me of the Darkness 2's dismemberment system too. Though personally I find the Darkness 2's controls of the demon arms(equivalent to the katana) to be easier to control with regards to the direction of the slashes.
You can literally slice a man in half vertically and watch the two pieces fall apart. It's just epic.

I read that in Bro Team's voice for some reason...

I think Metal Gear Rising has now taken the cake for this one.

If I remember correctly(played on PS3), in MGR you have "freeform" ability to cut your enemy just before he's dead and the parts just disappear in thin air. Not exactly fun.
To be frank, I had more fun dismembering enemies in Binary Domain(very underrated mostly because of crappy PC port) and Chasm: The Rift. In BD, being robots, they continue to attack you after losing arms or legs, in Chasm grunt will headbutt you after losing both hands.
Also, Die by the Sword & SoF (SOF2 sucked)

In this game, enemies are modelled in a way that allows you to cut them along many pre-defined lines, but this is mostly cosmetic. Strategic dismemberment happens, but it is quite rare because gameplay is too fast-paced for that.
