-In one of the early chapters I jumped down to a sewer-like place where I had to turn but on the wall, behind the bars I saw a hanged Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
-On the first dock level (I believe Chapter 6) once we are inside there are several Angry Ninjas posters put up on the walls. This is a reference to Rovio's critically acclaimed Angry Birds franchise.
-Once we reach Lo Wang's house and go into the cave-like basement there are several comic books along the walkway. Some are not really comics but the posters of the dev team's previous FPS called Hard Reset. Beside Hard Reset there are other product placements in the game such as the AlienWare logo on various containers on the dock level.
-There are dozens of Shadow Warrior arcades found throughout the game. There are a lot of pixelated areas if we look for secrets that are also references to the original game's Build engine.
-There are many movie references such as Taxi Driver when, at home, Wang starts shaving himself bald in front of the mirror. My favourite is when Wang realises the potential in the Kage sword and shows-off by saying that having the sword and being obsessed by it is "hotness". Hoji becomes offended and says "I liked it before it was cool" . To do something "before it was cool" is one of the common memes out there.
Sometimes when you kill a rabbit it simply does not die but become Monty Python's Killer Rabbit.

I did not know the girl was from the original, thought just a simple anime reference due to the Japanese setting. :)
Pixelated corpse that looks like a character from Shinobi or something.

There are also plenty of fortune cookie lines that are nods to the original SW, as well as Star Wars, Karate Kid, Zero Wing and other things...
There are also "Titsubishi" cars just like in the original game.
The arcade in the second level has the same logo as the Serious Sam games. There are also syphilis posters from Hard Reset in the arcade.
The "Planete Rouge" comic in Lo Wang's collection is clearly based on Tintin, I don't remember the particular book.
In the first chapter if you run as far as you can along the road Wang came driving along you'll eventually get to it's end where your path is blocked by a picture of the continuing road. You can see a part of a street from Hard Reset and some robots through a hole in it. Screenshot[i.imgur.com]
Edit: Oh that one, she's also from the original Shadow Warrior.
The section is between the mounted turret on a ship and the tunnel where we get the flamethrower.
Right after you walk into corridor and cutscene commence, walk a little, you will see a door to yer left, and near it a pixaleted wall. You need to crouch and go throu it. There is another green haired anime lasseh from original SW and money statue.
Ah, I did not recognize this legacy pixel sprite as Shredder... thanks! :D
