Chapter 3 - A Spiritual Laxative (bugged)

I'm in Chapter 3 and I stopped play the game yesterday because the door to Lo Wang's house is bugged. The door isn't glowing like it should and it won't let me open it, at first I thought maybe that wasn't the way to go then because at the beginning he says there is a secret. That door was not a secret but after looking online. I've only found out that this door truly is the door I must use to proceed but, the game will not let me open it. I even tried restarting the level and doing it all over, same results. I'm not about to do all 3 chapters over again just for this.

Maybe you missed a monster somewhere in the area?

Check the bodies, I once could not open a door because there was a demon that was still alive, yet lay completely still on the ground. I ended up chopping at every corpse I saw until I found the one.

I did that, I went up to all of the ones that I had fought earlier and they were already chopped up to pieces. I still cut them up more and I do have to say, the battle music was still playing. I looked around in every area and looks for any demons I might have missed, I found no new demons and the ones I killed were definitely dead.

it must be. because even though i've already beaten this game on Heroic earlier this morning, i'm just unlocking some last-minute achievements, particularly the "Hell on Earth" one (which is to kill 10 enemies with one shot [usually with a Rocket]). However, when I get to the big bridge near the end of Chapter-16 to bunch up all the possessed humans with the Shockwave skill, they just won't die in a single hit (but burns to death on the 2nd shot).

I even made a seperate thread about this as well, if anyone cares to take a look at it (especially if they've had similar problems getting this achievement)

After Wang shaves his head, go into the leftmost room and pick up a crossbow that's sitting in a glass case. I had the same problem since I didn't realize I had to do that.

yeah, came to this thread for the same reason. After reading it realised there were a few enemies up on the bridge by the door. After killing what I could see and still being stuck looked to right and seen ambulance, blew it up and triggered a wave jumping down to attack was able to progress after that. Hope that this helps.

Hey lads, I don't know if anyone still has the problem: but you need to "STAB" the shining lantern in that last alleyway's house! that then triggers a 2nd wave of demons and then you pick up a demon heart and can actually continue through the gate
